Find: A Couple Of Chairs With Nice Potential

I found two really nice chair's locally today. One solid wood in a tradtional style and the other a 60's-ish office-mod chair. Both nice in their own regards and both "factory-unique" indviduals with potential.

The first is constructed with solid wood and lightly stained with wheels on the bottom of the legs (to be removed of course).

The other is a  black, Mod-ish office chair with steel legs.

Sketching Clouds: The Business Plan

Our entire project is rooted in the wonderful wisdom of thrift and the purpose and craft of a handmade chair. While we both share the same visions and are compeled by the same senses, we do each come with our own tools. Meg, has earned her degree in business. While I have earned the experience of working with my back and creating with my hands. We are seeking our dreams like a long lunch break spent on one's back sketching clouds. Great Ideas are taking shape and are begining to look like something. It's easy to forget what we're doing,. It's likely best to remember that beyond the forms we've put on the page there is sky.

Entrepreneurial Thrift

Creating/designing/running a small buisness from scratch, it's kind of like starting a fire with nothing but flint and stone...in the rain, at night, with one arm. It's possible, but you've got to be crafty. We are attempting to build a thrifting brand, booth/shop/site . More than a thrift store, a connection to one's own thrify lifestyle. Our second hand shop, is an expression of a smart, crafty, clever, and fun way to live. Our business is to be built in the spirit of entrepreneurial thrift, that is using the same crafty spirit of thrifting.
